Born 25/12/1926. Enlisted 10/04/1947. Served overseas 15/07/1947 to 05/10/1948. Highest rank Driver. Posted to 2nd NZEF J Force 2nd Relief 27/06/1947. Embarked for Japan 15/07/1947 arrived 02/08/1947. Taken on strength 3rd Battalion.  On 12/04/1948 transferred from RNZ Infantry Corps to Royal NZ Army Service Corps, 19th NZASC Coy. Embarked for NZ 17/09/1948 disembarked in Auckland 05/10/1948. Discharged 11/11/1948. Re-enlisted in the Regular Force 18/10/1950 and discharged 26/12/1982. Highest rank Warrant Officer 1st class. Medals awarded NZ Service Medal 1946-49, NZ Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal. Eligible for the NZ Operational Service Medal and the NZ Defence Service Medal. Died 14/08/2000.
